State Ballot Issue 1 Marsy's Law Victims Rights Amendment.  Aaron Marshall, spokesman for Marsy's Law Ohio, discusses State Ballot Issue 1. The Ohio Christian Alliance is urging a YES vote on Issue 1 for victims' rights in Ohio.  Tune in and tell a friend. 

The proposed amendment would expand the rights of victims under the current Section 10a and require that the rights of victims be protected as vigorously as the rights of the accused. More specifically, for the purpose of ensuring due process, respect, fairness, and justice for crime victims and their families in the criminal and juvenile justice systems, the amendment would provide victims seven specific rights. On this week's broadcast, we showcase the largest D-Day Landing Reenactment in the country that takes place right here on the shores of Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio in Ashtabula County. Wayne Heim of the D-Day Conneaut re-enactment committee discusses its history and this year's activities.  One hundred-fifty  WWII veterans will be attending this year, and 1,400 re-enactors of American, British, German, and French, along with military and Higgins landing crafts for the Saturday morning landing. This year's event will be August 17, 18 and 19.

President Trump's Ban on Transgenders in the U.S. Military

Today, President Trump announced by Executive Order that transgenders will be banned from military service, citing, "Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail."
