If My People Which Are Called By My Name Shall Humble Themselves...And Pray II Chron. 7:14
Joining me on the program is President of Intercessors of America Dave Kubal. We discuss the importance of praying for our legislators and those who serve us in public office, from the President and his cabinet, members of Congress, to state and local officials. If the church gets serious about intercessory prayer for our nation, then God will hear from heaven, will forgive our sin, and will heal our land.
Also joining me is Pastor Michael Hall, pastor of the Peoples Church in Camp Springs, MD, who for the past 26 years has kept the tradition of open Bible reading on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer. The Bible is read aloud from Genesis to Revelation from Sunday to Thursday morning, the National Day of Prayer. The Bible is read in its entirety. Pastor Michael explains the power of reading God's Word aloud from our nation's capitol. In its 30th year, the tradition continues.
